What we collect
Just browsing
Nothing from you. We do not use analytics, ad trackers, or tracking cookies. Two services see basic technical data when your browser loads a page, the same as on almost any website:
- Cloudflare hosts the site. It processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block attacks.
- Google Fonts serves our typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google, which sees your IP address.
When you give us your email
Some tools ask for an email to unlock them or to send you something. We store the email address and which page you signed up from.
When you email yourself a lineup
We send that one lineup to the address you typed. We do not save the lineup online. To stop abuse, we keep a scrambled, one-way code made from your email and IP address, not the address itself. Your email joins our list only if you check the updates box.
When you make an account (Hit Window, Pitch Tracker)
- The adult: name, email, and whether you are a parent or coach.
- Each kid: a first name or nickname and an age or age group. Coaches can add a jersey number.
- Activity: Hit Window scores, and Pitch Tracker counts, pitch types, and locations you log.
Saved in your own browser
Rosters, lineups, Back Pocket Cards, game progress in Launch Lab and Skipper, your sign-in, and the last email you used are kept in your browser's storage on your device. We do not see them unless you send them to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Kids
- Accounts are for adults 18 and older. Kids never get an account and never give us their own email.
- We never collect a kid's last name, photo, school, email, or location.
- Hit Window leaderboards are public and show a kid's nickname and age group. Pick a nickname that is not a full name.
- Coaches add players only with a parent's OK.
- If you think a child gave us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
How we use it
- To run the tool you asked for, save your data, and sign you back in.
- To send occasional DugoutLab coaching tools and updates if you signed up for an account or a tool, or checked the updates box. Reply "unsubscribe" to any email and we stop.
Who helps us run it
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with services that run the site for us:
- Cloudflare: hosting and our database.
- Resend: delivers emails you ask for.
- Google: fonts, and a private spreadsheet copy of signup emails.
If we add paid products, the payment company handles your card. We never see card numbers. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Deleting your data
- Pitch Tracker: delete a player and every session from their stats page, or your whole account from your home screen. It happens right away.
- Anything else: email privacy@dugoutlab.com from the address you used. We delete it from our database and our spreadsheet copy.
We keep your data until you delete it or ask us to.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and sits with the providers above. No system is perfect, so we keep the amount we hold small.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
